American Cities Project

If you are like me and love to pour over the latest research on municipal financial issues, the Pew’s American Cities Project is worth your time. The American Cities Project conducts original research on three main topics:

The fiscal and economic challenges facing cities;
The important demographic changes they are undergoing; and
Their short- and long-term ability to deliver core services in the face of tight budgets and heightened needs.

The project believes that cities are essential to the nation’s prosperity—central to the quality of life, the livelihoods, and the long-term prospects of most Americans.
