Michigan Municipal League’s 2019 Capital Conference brought leaders from across the state together to share information and discuss important issues impacting Michigan communities.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer served as one of the conference’s keynote speakers, delivering a special presentation on her proposed state budget and vision for the future of the state. Throughout her speech, the governor addressed many challenges that Michigan cities, townships and villages currently face, including municipal finance reform.
